This visit is a part of the ongoing staff exchange and collaborative efforts between CHL/ANU and Udayana University, aligning with the establishment of the joint center known as the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on the Humanities and Social Sciences (CIRHSS) in 2019 (https://www.cirhss.org ).

The delegation will be engaged in the renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and the initiation of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for new collaborative projects. A/Professor Pramartha, the CIRHSS Team Leader for Digital Humanities, will deliver a presentation and participate in collaborative work with A/Professor Ross Tapsell and other academic staff members to drive future research in digital humanities.

The collaborative efforts between ANU and Udayana, facilitated by CIHRSS, have yielded significant productivity, particularly in the field of linguistic research. Notably, the involvement of Professor I Wayan Arka (ANU) and A/Professor Pramartha (Udayana University) in the Enggano Project(https://enggano.ling-phil.ox.ac.uk ) is a testament to this productive collaboration. The Udayana team’s visit to ANU holds substantial importance for advancing the collaborative efforts and research endeavors, especially within the broader domain of digital humanities.”
